What is the LCASE function in Excel

Returns a String that has been converted to lowercase.

Syntax syntax

LCase(string)LCase(string)

The required StringArgument is any valid string expression. The required stringargument is any valid string expression stringContains zero will zero returned.If string contains zero, zero is returned.

NotesRemarks

Only uppercase letters are converted to lowercase letters; all lowercase and non-letter characters remain unchanged. all lowercase letters and nonletter characters remain unchanged.
